How do you go about cultivating your microgreens?
In order to ensure that our customers have access to these greens throughout the year, we cultivate our microgreen plants in an indoor farm that maintains a consistent temperature. Urban farming is the most effective method for warding off those annoying little pests that like to make a home in our otherwise lovely little powerhouse plants. Growing them outside is not a feasible option because the climate in this part of Mobile, Alabama, is highly variable throughout the year. It also gets very hot down here!
My home is not in Mobile, and I do not reside in the state of Alabama. Could I still place an order and have you mail it?
We regret to inform you that our delivery services are only available within a 50-mile radius of Mobile County. Because of several interstate restrictions, it is against the law to send things that are easily perishable to another state. If you place an order with us from a state other than Alabama, we will do everything in our power to fulfill it; however, if we determine that doing so would be prohibitively expensive and would put us at risk of violating any laws that vary from state to state, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue you a refund instead.
What are the steps involved in using your subscription services?
Currently, we offer subscription services for customers within a 50-mile radius of Mobile County. When you place a subscription order, we will deliver your order with the type of microgreen you choose, along with the same quantity twice a month, directly to your door. We will harvest your microgreens and then personally pack and deliver them to you! When you subscribe, you have access to special discounts and privileges.
What should I do if I place an order but won't be home when it's delivered?
If you are not home when we attempt to deliver your item, we will make another delivery attempt the following day. On that day, we will contact you by phone before we deliver in order to provide you with an estimated delivery time. We will make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule in order to find a time that works for both of us.
Can I receive a refund for this?
There are no refunds for perishable items. If, despite this, you are not wholly content with the standard of our merchandise for any reason at all, you can exchange any item you purchased from us. You may even choose another variety of microgreens to replace it.
